Males are easy going, eager to please, more loving and loyal.  If you are just wanting a pet and do not plan to breed then males are the way to go.  If you have them neutered early they will probably never even learn to lift their legs.  Most people call or email wanting girls but the boys are the ones that usually steal my heart.

Males are generally easier to train and are prettier poms.  They keep their coat most of the year depending where you live.  My males shed once a year in July or August.  They start getting their winter coats back in by September.  Females shed 2 times a year.  After they have their heat cycle or after whelping puppies they shed out their coats by the time the puppies are weaned.  Then start to get it back a couple months later.  Poms that are fixed will not loose there hair except for the summer shed either male or female.  But it will not be near as bad of a shed as if they were not fixed.  Poms do not shed every day as short haired dogs do.

Here are my wonderful boys and a little about each of them.

This is Chaser is a 8 pound proven stud.  He is laid back, sweet, and is even cuter in person.  He is AKC registered and produces many colors of puppies. Chaser is a larger boy but produces smaller than he is. Look for Chase's new litter coming soon.

This is Reese, our 5.5 pound AKC registered chocolate brindle.   His puppies are small and will be his size or smaller at adult.  He has a red sable mom and a blue brindle dad.  Both of his parents were parti factored and he has a full parti litter brother.  He has also produced parti's bred to parti or parti factored girls. Contact us for info on his new puppies.

This is Evan, a beautiful 4 pound, AKC reg., orange sable boy.   Evan is a very sweet, outgoing boy with a quiet personality.  He is small but mighty.  He has even found his own spot in my bed.  lol  Both Evan's parents are champions and we enjoyed watching him grow and mature into a handsome boy.  He is in great coat and looking beautiful.  Evan is pictured here at 9 months and 1.5 years old.

Evan is home now and retired from showing.  Thank you Laura Meineke of Panache Poms for all your time and energy spent showing this wonderful little boy.

This is Teddy my daughters other Pom baby.  Teddy is about 3 yrs. old now.  He is neutered and he is strictly a pet.  Teddy is a wonderful little boy that is a whopping 3.5-4 pounds.  He is a great companion and loves snuggling in bed.  Teddy is not out of our breeding's but was adopted from a good friend.  He is one of a kind. Grace and Teddy get along great together and love my daughter dearly.  Just wanted to share him with all of you.
