Males are easy going, eager to please, more loving and loyal.  If you are just wanting a pet and do not plan to breed then males are the way to go.  If you have them neutered early they will probably never even learn to lift their legs.  Most people call or email wanting girls but the boys are the ones that usually steal my heart.

Males are generally easier to train and are prettier Poms.  They keep their coat most of the year depending where you live.  My males shed once a year in July or August.  They start getting their winter coats back in by September.  Females shed 2 times a year.  After they have their heat cycle or after whelping puppies they shed out their coats by the time the puppies are weaned.  Then start to get it back a couple months later.  Poms that are fixed will not loose there hair except for the summer shed either male or female.  But it will not be near as bad of a shed as if they were not fixed.  Poms do not shed every day as short haired dogs do.

Here are my wonderful boys and a little about each of them.

This is Zuko, our 6 pound AKC registered blue boy.  He has several Champions in his 3 generation pedigree.  Zuko is our newest stud here and is not proven yet. He is super sweet, outgoing and friendly. His puppies should have huge coat, teddy bear faces and stay in the 3-7 pound range.  We are looking forward to seeing what he produces. Should have some beautiful colors coming from this sweet boy.  Many many colors in his pedigree along with a few champions on dad side.  Contact us for info on his new puppies coming 2016.   Pedigree coming soon.

This is Jasper, a beautiful 4.5 pound, AKC reg., parti factored black boy.   Jasper is a very sweet, outgoing boy with little bit of a funny side to his personality.  He is very persistent and loves his momma.  He follows me everywhere and will sit with you for hours.  Jasper's dad is Parker and mom is Tori. Pictures available on request of Parker.  Tori's pedigree is full of color and there are several champions in dads pedigree.  We have enjoyed watching him grow and mature into a handsome boy.  He has nice movement and a beautiful expression.  Look at the coat on this kid!
